Why I Became
a Therapist
My path to becoming a therapist wasn't a straight line — it was shaped by my own experiences with struggle, healing, and the profound impact of having someone truly in your corner.
"I became a therapist to partner with others to see them overcome their largest hurdles so that their thorns become their roses. I want to pass on to others what I have been given: the gift of freedom."
My Therapeutic
Approach
What sets my work apart is the balance of insight and action. I help clients not only understand why they feel the way they do, but how to create lasting change — using an approach that is authentic, curious, collaborative, and yes, occasionally infused with a little humor.
PARTs (Parts Work)
We'll explore the different parts of you that have developed over time — often as survival strategies — and work toward integration and understanding rather than shame or suppression.
Post-Induction Therapy (PIT)
A deep, experiential approach to healing childhood wounds and the core beliefs they created. We go beyond talk therapy to reach what's stored in the body and nervous system.
Psychodrama
An active, experiential method that helps clients process and re-enact experiences in a safe space — often unlocking what words alone can't reach.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
We'll explore the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and develop practical strategies to shift the patterns keeping you stuck.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Practical skills for managing overwhelming emotions, improving relationships, and building a life that feels worth living.

A Little More About Me
When I'm not in session, you'll probably find me at a local coffee shop, in the kitchen cooking or baking, exercising, traveling, or spending time with the people I love. I believe in practicing what I preach — showing up fully in my own life so I can show up fully for yours.
I am also available for guest lectures and speaking engagements, specializing in LGBTQ+ issues, childhood trauma, and relational attachment trauma.
